Parent Seminar
On the final day of Camp, a parenting seminar is led by the Camp director and key facilitators. This program gives parents an overview of their teen's experience, as well as specific skills designed to support teens in retaining the maximum value from what they have learned. The program's final hours feature a parent and teen reunion and a presentation of communication and negotiation skills to support the 'ohana (family) environment.
Parents will drive up to the camp site and be directed to parking by Winners' Camp staff. All neighbor island parents MUST notify Winners' Camp of arrival times in order to reserve seats on the shuttle bus.
Child Care
Please make every possible attempt to find child care for siblings on Parent Day: small children tend to get restless. It's best to give all of your focus and attention to your teen who has just experienced a very intense and transformational time.
